2019년 5월 Radio X의 사운드체크 세션에서 프론트맨 에즈라가 설명한 'Harmony Hall' 이라는 표현:

"I still can’t remember exactly when I heard the phrase Harmony Hall and the idea that a place would be called Harmony Hall just seemed interesting to me, it just seemed so presumptuous. It’s implying some sort of peaceful place where things are in harmony and basically nowhere is truly like that. Some of them made a lot of sense like some utopian communities, there’s one in England. I found out later after writing the song that there are former slave plantations that people would call a horrific place like that Harmony Hall. I was also disappointed to find out that after I went to Columbia they opened a dorm called Harmony Hall because when the song came out people were like ‘Oh, is he writing a song about college?” and I wanted to be like ‘I haven’t written a song about college in ten years—Leave me alone. I don’t think about that place anymore. No, it’s not named after the dorm.’“

"하모니 홀 이라는 표현을 정확히 언제 들은 건지는 아직도 기억이 안 나지만, 하모니 홀이라고 불리는 장소에 대한 개념 자체가 흥미롭게 느껴졌어요. 뭔가 엄청 건방지게 들렸어요. 하모니 홀은 모든 것이 조화 상태에 있는 평화로운 곳을 의미하지만 사실 세상 어떤 곳도 그렇지 않잖아요. 영국에 있는 유토피아 공동체같은 곳들은 그나마 좀 말이 되죠. 이 곡을 쓴 이후에, 사람들이 이전에 노예 농장이었던 끔찍한 곳들을 하모니 홀이라고 부른다는 것을 알게 됐어요. 제가 콜럼비아에 간 이후 거기 사람들이 하모니 홀이라는 기숙사를 열었다는 것을 알게 되었을 때도 실망스러웠어요. 이 곡이 나왔을 때 사람들은 '오, 이거 대학에 대한 노래인가?" 라고 했고 저는 "지난 십 년동안 대학에 대한 곡은 쓰지도 않았다, 나 좀 그냥 내비둬라"고 하고 싶었거든요. 그 장소에 대해서 이제는 더이상 생각 안 해요. 기숙사 이름 따서 지은 노래 아니에요."
